SpendWise Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

SpendWise is a personal finance and expense tracking application developed and maintained by Qubex Solutions ("we," "our," or "us"). It is designed to help individuals record, categorize, and review their day-to-day expenses with a focus on simplicity and privacy.

This Privacy Policy explains what information SpendWise does and does not handle, how your data is stored, and the practices we follow to keep your information private. By installing or using SpendWise, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

2. Information Collection

SpendWise is built around a privacy-first model. In particular:

• No user accounts are required. You can use the app without signing up, signing in, or providing any identifying information.
• No personal information is collected for registration. SpendWise does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any similar identifiers.
• The app operates primarily offline. Core functionality such as adding, editing, categorizing, and viewing expenses does not require an internet connection.

3. Data Storage

• All expense data that you enter into SpendWise is stored locally on your device using the device's on-device storage.
• Qubex Solutions cannot view, access, or read your expense records. Your data does not leave your device as part of normal app usage.
• You maintain full control over your data. You can edit or delete entries at any time, and uninstalling the app removes the locally stored data.

4. Permissions

SpendWise requests only the minimum Android permissions required to provide its features. Each permission, if requested, is used strictly for the purpose described below:

• Storage access — used only when you choose to back up or export your expense data to a local file on your device. SpendWise does not read unrelated files.
• Notifications — used to display local reminders you configure inside the app (for example, daily logging reminders). No notification content is sent from a remote server.
• Internet access (if requested) — used solely to check for application updates or load static in-app content. It is not used to transmit your expense data.

You may grant, revoke, or modify these permissions at any time through your device's system settings.

5. Data Security

• Because your data remains on your device, its security is closely tied to your device's overall security.
• You are responsible for securing your device through measures such as a strong screen lock, biometric authentication, encrypted storage, and timely operating system updates.
• SpendWise implements reasonable industry-standard practices intended to protect the integrity of the application and the data it stores locally. However, no software can guarantee absolute security.

6. Third-Party Services

SpendWise does not use third-party advertising networks and does not sell user data. The application does not integrate third-party analytics SDKs, behavioral tracking services, or ad networks that profile users.

7. Data Sharing

• We do not sell user data. Your data is not made available to data brokers, advertisers, or any third party for commercial purposes.
• We do not share user financial information. Expense amounts, categories, notes, and any associated metadata are not transmitted to us or to any external party.
• Qubex Solutions has no access to your expense records. Because data is stored only on your device, there is no server-side database of user records for us to view.

8. Children's Privacy

SpendWise is a general-audience productivity application and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the application, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the application, our practices, or applicable legal requirements.

When we make material changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant updates may also be communicated through release notes on Google Play or, where appropriate, in-app notices. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
